This rustic paradise has little phone signal and no TV, the perfect place to switch off, take in the bird sounds and the surrounds, and enjoy spectacular sunsets and starlit nights from each bedroom cabin.
Sprawling green lawns stretch to the river banks where time can be spent on/in the water.
The main house has three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a generous living area. There is one bathroom in the main house. The 3 Bedroom cabins are outside the main house, settled into the indigenous vegetation and connected by a forest walkway. A family cottage sits detached from the Riverhouse on the other side of the lawn, which also has a bathroom.
Two Eco-loos can be found on the walkway outside the main house. These are eco-friendly waterless toilets for “number twos”. There is also an outdoor double shower on the water’s edge.
Quaint sitting areas are dotted around on the decks, lawn, and house.
Play board games, read books, bird-watch and chill…
This is a nature-lovers paradise.
With a large braai outside and a chiminea inside – it’s always good weather to be here.
Make use of the SUPs and kayaks at your pace. Mooring space is available for your boat.

The house has NO TV and NO wifi.
Cellphone signals can be received at the top of the driveway. Laundry can be done – please enquire with Rachel. This will be charged at R50 per kg for wash dry & fold.
On arrival, wood will be stocked for the braai. You’re able to buy more from David at R50 per bag. The house is serviced daily, and an R500 cleaning fee is charged for the departure day of every booking.
Pet friendly on request. Linen and towels were provided. There are three bedrooms in the main house, each with a double bed.
The Loft bedroom is above the kitchen and open to the lounge – great for big kids. There is a double room off the kitchen, ideal for older folk – no stairs and close to the indoor toilet.
The Boat Room is outside and under the house.
2 Bush Cabins, 1 Deck Cabin and the Family Cottage are outside the main house and have phenomenal views.
The bush cabins require the most stair climbing – these are recommended for more agile guests – they also have the best views and get plenty of sunshine.
Please bring drinking water.
