African Perfection invites Roushanna Gray to teach us how to live off the land and ocean. Our luxury beachfront B&B is right on Supertubes, one of the world’s finest waves, and lends itself perfectly to host this intimate Veld-and-Sea foraging experience. A small group of like-minded people will be brought together to enjoy the sounds of the ocean, the salty air and the dune vegetation. Wake up to a morning yoga session with Laura Wall of Luna Blue Escapes, to start the day off relaxed and revitalised.
Jeffreys Bay is wildly delicious and between the land and sea forages, you can expect to discover and experience seaweeds, shellfish, coastal plants, edible weeds, flowers and wild herbs. Forage for indigenous edibles, learn how to sustainably harvest them, utilize them in your kitchen, grow them in your garden and learn some of their medicinal properties. Learn about wild herbs and how to preserve and prepare them. Take this knowledge and let it become part of your everyday – take the memories and cherish them forever.
