Terms of Booking & Booking Deposit
By booking with us, you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to our booking terms and conditions. During your stay, you agree to follow these conditions. If you have questions, please get in touch with us before booking.

Booking Process Terms and Conditions
The lead guest must be at least 16 years old to book. The maximum number of guests per room appears in the room occupancy details on our website. If the booking person differs from the lead guest, they may be responsible for cancellation, non-arrival, and damages. Only the lead guest and named booking party may use the property and facilities; third-party visitors need our express permission.
We require an advance deposit to secure any booking, with deposits refundable under specified conditions. Payments can be made online, by phone with a debit/credit card, digital bank transfer, cheque, or cash deposit. The lead guest must reimburse us for any charges we incur for handling dishonoured payments within seven days.
All guests must respect the privacy and peace of other guests, neighbours, and owners. We may cancel a booking immediately if guests breach this agreement or cause disturbance to others. This is an essential aspect of our booking terms and conditions.
Check-in & Check-out Conditions
Check-in by 2:00 pm and before 7:00 pm on arrival day.
Check-out by 11:00 am on departure day.
Cancellation, Returned Deposit & Non-Arrival Conditions
Please get in touch with us immediately if you need to cancel. Deposits are refundable only under these conditions:
- A full deposit refund applies if cancelled 15 days or more before arrival.
- Cancellations made 14 days or less before arrival receive a 50% deposit refund.
- No refund is issued for cancellations within 48 hours of arrival; the total booking amount is due.
Guests who do not arrive forfeit their deposit, and the total booking amount remains due. We recommend appropriate holiday or cancellation insurance.
If we cancel your booking due to uncontrollable circumstances, our liability is limited to refunding any payment already made.
WiFi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy
Where available, WiFi access is intended for general use (e.g., browsing, email, social media, and light streaming). We monitor usage to maintain service quality for all guests. WiFi is unsuitable for heavy media streaming, online gaming, or extensive downloads/uploads. Accessing illegal or unlawful activity on our network is prohibited and will be reported to authorities.
Damages & Lost Property
We may charge the lead guest for any damages caused during the booking by any booking party member, including breakages, spillages, stains, and furniture or fixture damage. Please report accidental injuries immediately to limit further costs. Lost keys/fobs/access cards will incur a replacement charge.
We hold lost property for one month. While we attempt to reunite items with their owners, we accept no responsibility for replacing lost items. We may offer to post items at the property owner’s cost or arrange collection.
Smoking Terms and Conditions
Smoking, including cigarettes, pipes, e-cigarettes, e-liquids, cigars, snuff, or chewing tobacco, is allowed only in designated areas as posted, per the Health Act 2006.
Pets & Service Dogs
We do not accept pets except for service dogs.

Guests park on-site at their own risk.

Your Details & Privacy
We keep a guest register for guests over 16, including names, nationality, passport details, and next destination for non-British, Irish, or Commonwealth guests, as per the Immigration (Hotel records) Order 1972. Under the DPA and GDPR regulations, we keep these records for a minimum of 12 months.

Entries in our on-site guest book should not include personal information. Under the POPI and GDPR, we may remove any personal details.

Our Right To Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund, or reimbursement if these terms are breached. By staying at African Perfection and any of our subsidiary guesthouses you agree to the booking terms and conditions.
